Kaylyn Adams is the Communications Director for WHRPG. Kaylyn went to Grand Canyon
University where she earned a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and to Arizona State
University where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Russian. Her understanding of
how systemic barriers in Education, Healthcare, Civic Engagement, and more directly impact
the rates that low income and minority community members end up entangled with the criminal
justice system; led her to work with various non-profits and campaigns with the purpose of
empowering and advocating for disenfranchised communities. Her communications experience
comes from learning on the job and asking lots of questions during her almost 4 years of
community activism. She believes that the work WHRPG is doing will impact the lives of
Arizonans, especially those that are disenfranchised for the better.
